Major General Elder Granger Appointed to Caregility Advisory Board

MG Granger brings clinical expertise in both civilian and military sectors to the new role

audio and video communications in both inpatient and outpatient settings, announces the appointment of Major General Elder Granger, USA, Ret., to the Caregility Advisory Board. In his role with Caregility, MG Granger will bring clinical guidance and expertise to Caregility’s efforts to accelerate growth, drawing from his experience as a physician and military leader.

MG Granger currently serves as President and CEO of The 5Ps, LLC, a healthcare, education and leadership consulting organization. Prior to his retirement from the U.S. Army he served as the Deputy Director and Program Executive Officer of the TRICARE Management Activity, Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense, Health Affairs. In his role leading TRICARE, MG Granger oversaw the acquisition, operation and integration of the Department of Defense’s managed care program, leading a staff of 1,800 in planning, budgeting and executing a $22.5 billion Defense Health Program ensuring high-quality, accessible care for 9.2 million service members and their families worldwide. Prior to joining TRICARE, MG Granger led the largest U.S. and multi-national battlefield health system in recent history while serving as Commander, Task Force 44th Medical Command, and Command Surgeon for the Multinational Corps Iraq.
