(Sept. 23, 2021) – Caregility, whose sole mission is providing points of care for patients everywhere, today announced it has surpassed 200 million minutes of Virtual Care Platform use, since launching three years ago. This milestone reflects the more than 1,000 hospitals that have now implemented the Caregility Platform.
Before and throughout the pandemic, Caregility debuted innovations for virtual visits and continuous patient observation that addressed urgent needs to preserve staff time and PPE supplies, while continuing to deliver patient-centered care in new scenarios. The Company’s efforts earned the 2021 Best in KLAS: Virtual Care Platforms (Non-EMR) award from KLAS Research.
Today, the Caregility Platform supports more than 25,000 access point of care systems and devices embedded in numerous hospital workflows, used daily by upwards of 30,000 clinicians. To address facilities still in the early stages of virtual care adoption, along with more seasoned users building increasingly sophisticated models of care, the company plans additional innovations over the next several months. Caregility’s roadmap includes new acute care access point options, a flexible device and service bundle, additional clinical workflows, integration with nurse call and clinical communications systems, and intelligent bandwidth optimization and management.
