Caregility offers a purpose-built telehealth and virtual care infrastructure, consisting of:
- Cross-platform software, including an administrative portal and integrations with other components, such as EMRs
- Mounted and mobile point-of-care monitoring and communication devices. Facilities and practices can also “bring your own devices.”
Our simple API set integrates with other applications to enable telehealth sessions without complex meeting IDs, passwords, and application installations. This software also controls our market-leading patient communication and observation devices, which include wall and ceiling-mounted units, as well as mobile carts and tablets.

A decade ago, Yorktel, a 35+ year video communications company, identified the need for a scalable, reliable, universal 24/7 telehealth platform. Rather than shoehorn off-the-shelf technology into a new solution, Yorktel built an innovative platform specifically for healthcare’s complexities.
Based on the success of this approach, in 2019 Yorktel spun out Caregility as a separate telehealth and virtual patient observation company to further develop the Caregility platform and associated applications and solutions. The vision was to create a universal, easy-to-use ecosystem that stretches across the entire continuum of care, from critical care, to the emergency department, and subacute care to the patient’s home.
